The Narrative

Southern soul meets the Hamptons elite. A cigar being cut while sipping peach moonshine in Oak Bluffs. Rugged elegance of charred oak and unburnt tobacco softened by sun-ripened Georgia peaches This is the architecture of an heirloom summer. The heavy, humid air of the Southern countryside meeting the exclusive enclave of Martha's Vineyard. It is the scent of generational leisure—where the sweet, rich air of an August evening is cut by the smoke of a patriarch’s cigar and a heavy pour of aged whiskey.

Vibe

Nostalgic. Generational. Humid. Rich.

Tone

Low-playing blues and the clink of ice against glass on a warm August night.

The Origin

Inspired by the spaces where the Black experience exhales. We engineered this composition to capture the exact tension between the sweet air of a summer retreat and the grounded, masculine reality of charred oak, whiskey, and unburnt tobacco. It is an homage to the men and women who paved the way for our rest.

THE STANDARD

The Composition: 8oz. Proprietary coconut wax blend. Artisan-poured.
The Protocol: The first burn sets the standard. Allow the wax to reach a full melt pool—edge to edge—before extinguishing. This takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn without exception. Retire at ¼ inch remaining.

SCENT ARCHITECTURE

The Arrival: Sea Salt, Ozone. Clean entry. The temperature drops.
The Presence: Driftwood, Sandalwood. Warm. Grounded. The house settles.
The Trace: Dark Amber, Dark Musk. Still there the next morning.
(Full Notes: Sea Salt, Ozone, Driftwood, Sandalwood, Dark Amber, Dark Musk)

Technical Specs

55+ Hour Burn. Bespoke Coconut Wax Blend. Heavy-base amber glass.

The Protocol

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn. Light this when the sun goes down and the music goes on. Allow a full melt pool to ensure the heavy charred oak and tobacco foundation can properly anchor the room.

A story being told on a porch in August, on a summer night. It’s the string lights on the porch. It’s the sound of jazz playing low from inside the house. It’s your uncle in the corner, lighting a cigar, while ice clinks in a glass of brown liquor.
